Our membership engagement programme is made up of a series of accessible, online sessions that support evidence-informed practice and build active use of the Research in Practice resources.

Members can access a rolling programme of online events which include the following:

  • Practice Pointers: Designed for all social care staff, these sessions provide bite size learning on a core topic.
  • Workforce Development Sessions: Designed for workforce development colleagues, these sessions aim to build capacity within Partner organisations, supporting them to deliver learning sessions on specific topics and apply learning theories themselves.
  • Engagement Support Sessions: Designed for Link Officers, Champions, Principal Social Workers, and Principal Occupational Therapists, these sessions support attendees with getting the most from the Research in Practice membership.
  • How to use Research in Practice Sessions: Designed for anyone new to Research in Practice, these sessions guide attendees on how to use and get the most out of membership with Research in Practice.

We will continue to offer existing learning opportunities such as online workshops and webinars, as well as face-to-face conferences.
